Message from the Mayor

The Utica Mayor’s Benefit Gala is excited to be returning after a 2-year COVID pause and will continue its mission to enhance the quality of life for families and individuals living and working in our great community.

This year, my wife Susan, together with the Gala Committee, have chosen Make-A-Wish Central New York as the recipient of the 2023 Mayor’s Benefit Gala. The event will be held Saturday, April 22 at the beautiful Delta Hotels by Marriott Utica.

Make-A-Wish Central New York is on a mission to “Together, create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.” Currently there are over 160 kids throughout Central New York, awaiting the hope and joy of their own wish. Many of them simply can’t wait… Six of those kids and their families are from Utica and it is our goal to, through this event, transform their lives and empower them with the strength and hope and joy that is unique to a wish.

We are seeking your support and engagement and ask that you consider making a donation or providing an in-kind gift to the Gala in support of Make-A-Wish. Sponsorship opportunities are listed on the attached form. In appreciation of your generosity, you will be recognized on promotional materials and event signage wherever possible.
